Our Helen Painter’s Palette was inspired by the ivory palettes used by the ancient Egyptians. Constructed from sustainable maple and vegetable-tanned leather, the palette is a simple way to transport your favorite paints, whether you mix your own pigments or squeeze them from a tube.
The Helen fits in both the Classic and Mini Sendak Artist Rolls.

The wood is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. FSC-certified wood was harvested from forests that are responsibly managed by environmentally conscious companies.

I have several Iris Palettes and realized I missed the point in terms of being organized. So, I opted to buy Helen’s Painter’s palette because it lends itself to very limited and specific pigments. I use mine for neutrals. The top 3 are ‘cool’ and the 3 below those are ‘warm’. I also like the dimensions which allow it to fit very conveniently pretty much everywhere.

Lovely paint palettes
I have bought these before and they have all been exquisite
This time one wasn't quite so as it wasn't routed properly and so had sharp edges not sanded in the wells making it difficult to fit the pans in
